Los Angeles, Saturday March 25th, 2023.
As the home opener for the 2023 season is upon us, time for me to put a little bow on a project that took most of my (precious) free time in the year 2022: ACFC on Film.
It felt mostly like a personal challenge— covering a full season on the sidelines with the same equipment one would have used in the late nineties— I also made it a game of seeing how many times I was actually going to be able to attend our home games while keeping a full production schedule (list of commercials available upon request).
I am happy to report I actually made it to every single one, albeit sometimes a little after they started.
Last year was an adventure in all ways you want to look at it— as I close out on this particular project, wishing all Angel City players a wonderful second season; may it brings you (and me) everything you could hope for (and then some).
